Tulip Winery
GalileeAddress: Kfar Tikva, Kiryat Tivon
Tulip Winery is the largest boutique winery in Israel, founded in 2003 by the Itzhaki family. What sets it apart isn't only the wine: the winery operates inside Kfar Tikva ("Village of Hope") near Kiryat Tivon — a community for adults with special needs. Residents take part in the winery's work, so every bottle of Tulip also supports a social mission. Its flagship is Black Tulip, a rich Bordeaux blend (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot). Since 2010 all Tulip wines are kosher. The range spans full-bodied reds, whites and rosé, and the winery is a regular in Israeli wine rankings. The visitor center hosts tastings with a cheese platter, plus "wine + chocolate" and "wine + meat" workshops. Kfar Tikva is a green, pastoral spot about 15 km from Haifa — an easy half-day trip, and family-friendly too.
