Carmel is a historic winery founded in 1882 with Baron Edmond de Rothschild’s support. Its Wine Culture Center is on Derech HaYekev in Zikhron Yaakov, within the historic cellar complex. All Carmel wines are kosher, and the winery's history spans nearly a century and a half of Israeli winemaking. Book each format separately: a historic-cellar tour with tasting, or a wine-and-cheese workshop. The wine-and-cheese workshop does not include a winery tour. Confirm inclusions and conditions when booking. Tours require advance coordination through WhatsApp 050-4000287 and are subject to availability. Fridays offer private tours at 11:00. Regular tours are for ages 18 and over. Family programs are advertised separately for specific dates; check availability before booking.
