It is run by winemaker Mika Ran Mandel, who trained in viticulture and oenology at the Hebrew University's Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot and worked several years in northern Golan vineyards before founding her own label. The winery occupies the cellar level beneath the family's modern-rustic home in moshav Natur, overlooking the Golan. Grapes are hand-harvested from family and partner vineyards at high elevations (above ~800 m) in Samaria, the Galilee and the Golan. Mika's approach emphasizes clarity, purity and balance, with minimalist intervention and restrained oak. The wines include a Sauvignon Blanc-Roussanne white blend and a Grenache Noir-based Rosé (the signature current releases), plus Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot and a Cabernet Sauvignon-based red blend ("Outback"). The first production was around 10,000 bottles, predominantly white wines.
