Mika Winery

Mika Winery is a small family boutique winery in the southern Golan Heights, founded in 2021. It is run by winemaker Mika Ran Mandel, who trained in viticulture and oenology at the Hebrew University's Faculty of Agriculture in Rehovot and worked several years in northern Golan vineyards before founding her own label. The winery occupies the cellar level beneath the family's modern-rustic home in moshav Natur, overlooking the Golan. Grapes are hand-harvested from family and partner vineyards at high elevations (above ~800 m) in Samaria, the Galilee and the Golan. Mika's approach emphasizes clarity, purity and balance, with minimalist intervention and restrained oak. The wines include a Sauvignon Blanc-Roussanne white blend and a Grenache Noir-based Rosé (the signature current releases), plus Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Petit Verdot and a Cabernet Sauvignon-based red blend ("Outback"). The first production was around 10,000 bottles, predominantly white wines. Visitors are hosted for a paid tasting-and-tour experience in the cellar winery: a tasting of 6 wines for 60 NIS per person, optionally accompanied by a platter of local cheeses, breads, baked goods and olive oil (this accompanies the tasting and is not a full meal). There is an on-site wine shop, and guests are received in a courtyard with Golan views.
