Eyal Winery

Eyal Winery is a small family-owned boutique winery on Moshav Givat Nili, in the Menashe region of the Carmel foothills. It was founded in 2008 by winemaker Eyal Ochayon, whose family has grown grapes in the area for three generations. He studied winemaking at the Sorek wine school under Nir Shacham, and from the 2009 vintage onward the winery became kosher. Production here is deliberately tiny — roughly 4,000–7,000 bottles a year, made only from the family's own estate fruit. The top bottle is the "Alma" (אלמה) reserve (~180 NIS); the "Shani" (שני) red blend and the "Blanko" white blend are the other signature wines. Tastings are intimate and hosted personally by the winemaker, usually by appointment. There is a visitor center on site, and the winery is known for occasional wine-and-cheese evenings with live music. It has been kosher since 2009; the specific certifying body is not named in available sources — confirm directly with the winery before visiting.
