Matnas Adar is located at 29 Yerushalayim Street, in the Hadar neighborhood, Haifa. Hadar sits on the slope of Mount Carmel between Central Carmel and the lower city and is one of Haifa's older urban districts. Yerushalayim Street is a main local axis with several public transport lines running along it. The center can be reached on foot from the surrounding streets, by bus along the main lines, or by private car. Public parking in the area is limited and fills up faster during evening activities. The entrance opens onto the Yerushalayim Street pavement. The venue is also referred to as Matnas Adar — Beytenu Hall. The center operates as a neighborhood community center: the main hall hosts cultural events, classes, music evenings and small-scale local performances. The surroundings include cafés, local shops, restaurants and Hadar's bus lines. Hadar is active during the day and in the evening, and the audience here comes mainly from the neighborhood and the immediate surrounding area.
