Galileo Winery is a small boutique winery in Kibbutz Dan, in the far north of Israel, founded in 2004 and run hands-on by the family ever since. Its defining feature is the location: tastings are served right at the water's edge, beside a tributary of the Dan stream. The winery makes a full range: Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, the signature "Jupiter" blend, a red Syrah, the whites Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, plus a rosé. The wine is not kosher — the winery states this explicitly on its own site. Guests are offered a seated wine tasting paired with a cheese platter (cheeses with homemade bread/crackers and onion jam). Tables are set right by the water, and you can put your chair into the flowing stream — a spot often described as romantic and "the closest to nature." There are occasional events with live music and food. Prices are roughly 40–50 ₪ per person for the tasting and about 120–140 ₪ for the cheese platter — confirm before visiting.
The winery is in Kibbutz Dan in the far north of the country — about 111 km, roughly 102 minutes' drive from Haifa.
On weekdays (Sunday–Thursday), yes — coordinate in advance by phone or WhatsApp. On Friday and Saturday you can walk in without a reservation. One aggregator lists daily 12:00–17:00 by prior arrangement, so confirm when booking.
