It occupies a 1929 basalt-stone family home renovated by its owner, Gideon (Gidi) Badt, an architect by profession who studied winemaking with Nir Shacham of Sorek Winery and Ido Levinson of Recanati Winery and has made his own wines since 2010. The winery is named after Princess Berenice, with views toward the ruins of her castle atop Mount Berenice. The winery produces reds, whites, rosé and port-style wine, alongside the separate kosher Sanhedrin range. A winemaker session includes four wines and stories about the family and Tiberias. Visits run Thu–Fri 11:00–15:00 by reservation, with winemaker sessions at 12:00–13:00. Light food and four guest villas are available.
