About
In 1956, young advertising professional Emmi Creola creates Betty Bossi, a fictional character intended to sell margarine. She must promote recipes despite not knowing how to cook. An Italian immigrant helps her learn, but Emmi’s own identity becomes increasingly entangled with Betty. A comedy-drama based on a true story.
