# Dorit Lilien — Original Rap with Live Band > Haifa Events **Category:** live_music ## Description Dorit Lilien — Original Rap Show with a Live Band Dorit Lilien is a rapper, singer, spoken word artist, actress, and director — one of the unique creators working at the intersection of Israeli rap and theater. A graduate of "Yoram Loewenstein" and "Rimon," she is a star and co-creator of the award-winning rap musical "This City," and winner of the "Golden Microphone" at "Poetry Slam Israel." Lilien brings to the stage an unusual combination of sharp writing, fearless humor, social critique, and a captivating stage presence. In her original rap show she arrives with a live band and original material, in arrangements built especially for the stage. Moving between hip-hop, groove, R&B, and reggaeton, she moves between the personal and the social, between audacity and tenderness, connecting the energy of rap with dramatic sensibility and an independent artistic voice. And along the way, the audience is also in for a surprise from a dark rap legend she wrote.
