France, 1940, under the Vichy regime. Henri Marre, 49, devotes his life to writing the political manifesto "Our Salvation," convinced that his ideas can lead France toward a new future and earn him a place in its leadership. But in his ambition to save his country – and perhaps himself – he becomes increasingly entangled with the dark forces behind the regime. Blind to the price he may pay, Marre sets out to fight for his place in history, without realizing that the very dream in whose name he acts may well lead to his downfall. 155 minutes, French, Hebrew and English subtitles.
