Yad LaBanim Memorial Hall
Beit Yad LaBanim Haifa is located at 48 Ha-Yarkon Street, Haifa. The building functions as a memorial center for Haifa's fallen soldiers and also as a venue for cultural events, ceremonies and lectures. It stands among residential buildings and public buildings of Haifa, a few minutes from Hadar and the main city routes. Ha-Yarkon Street is a residential side street, lined with neighborhood housing and public buildings. Access is possible on foot from nearby streets, by buses running along Haifa's main arteries, or by private car. Public parking in the area is limited and fills up faster on event evenings. The entrance opens onto the pavement, with direct access from the street. The venue is also referred to simply as Beit Yad LaBanim. The building hosts memorial ceremonies, state commemorations, community events, cultural evenings and intimate concerts. The surroundings include cafés, local shops and neighborhood services. The audience comes from local residents and from across Haifa depending on the type of event.
