He is forced to leave his neighborhood and continue his education at a Catholic boarding school in Burgundy — a world completely foreign to the one he knew. The encounter between the Muslim teenager from the suburbs and the students, teachers and nuns sets off a series of clashes, surprises and unexpected encounters. In a warm, humor-filled comedy, Mohamed Hamidi brings together two worlds and sets aside their differences to look at what we all share: the desire to belong, to be accepted and to find our place. The film is based on the life of Ilyes Djadal. 92 minutes, French, Hebrew subtitles. **Date:** 2026-11-27, 19:00 **Venue:** Haifa Cinematheque **Address:** Ave. Ha-Nasi 142 **City:** Haifa **Tickets:** https://www.haifacin.co.il/Event/17718/ **Image:** https://pub-0a891185c33b4c5a8db7ede117f7c8e7.r2.dev/haifa-events/cinehaifa/21413b35c99cc7cf2324d5ceec5fd02e.jpg --- **Canonical event page:** https://www.haifa.events/en/event/tombe-du-ciel/ **Other languages:** https://www.haifa.events/he/event/tombe-du-ciel/, https://www.haifa.events/ru/event/tombe-du-ciel/ Haifa Events is an aggregator.
