# Tom Yaar: Cautiously Optimistic – A Brand New Stand-Up Show! > Haifa Events **Category:** standup ## Description Tom Yaar returns to the stage with a new show! After 14 consecutive years on stage, she stopped, rested, did other things, made meatballs, and thought about life. And there, between scrolling her phone and taking afternoon naps, Tom realized what had never really changed: more than anything — she just loves performing! So she sat down at the computer to write a show, and nothing came out. So she tried again and again — until finally it worked! A brand-new show by a mature, experienced woman who's cute, mischievous, and even wise. Tom Yaar's new show is a personal stand-up about parenthood, about sports, about being Israeli, about "the situation," about scrolling your phone, and about life itself. "A cautious optimist."
