# Play: We Had a World > Haifa Events **Category:** theatre ## Description Moments before her death, Josh's grandmother imposes an unusual last wish on him: to write a play about their family. She demands that the play be honest, revealing, and merciless — and Josh takes up the challenge. Together with his mother and grandmother, Josh recreates thirty years of family dramas, petty quarrels, accusations, and betrayals, and the result is a funny and witty family portrait about a love that keeps going even as everything around it falls apart. A personal, smart, and gripping play that invites the audience to laugh at what hurts — and remember why, despite everything, family is the most precious thing there is. **Date:** 2026-11-29, 21:00 **Venue:** Haifa Theatre **Address:** Pevzner St. 50, Hadar **City:** Haifa **Tickets:** https://www.haifa.muni.il/event/%d7%94%d7%a6%d7%92%d7%94-%d7%94%d7%99%d7%94-%d7%9c%d7%a0%d7%95-%d7%a2%d7%95%d7%9c%d7%9d/ **Image:** https://pub-0a891185c33b4c5a8db7ede117f7c8e7.r2.dev/haifa-events/haifa_municipality/4c4062306550529a6f02c07e7011edcb.jpg --- **Canonical event page:** https://www.haifa.events/en/event/play-we-had-a-world/ **Other languages:** https://www.haifa.events/he/event/הצגה-היה-לנו-עולם/, https://www.haifa.events/ru/event/спектакль-у-нас-был-мир/ Haifa Events is an aggregator.
