# Opera Without Words — Mozart, Bizet, Verdi, Tchaikovsky — Piano Trio > Haifa Events **Category:** classical ## Description Opera Without Words — the new program by Music Code. How many words does it take to hear an opera? Music already has everything: love and jealousy, comedy and tragedy, heroes and whole stories. Famous arias, duets and overtures from the works of Mozart, Rossini, Bizet, Verdi and Tchaikovsky come to life anew — without singing, performed by a piano trio. Here, every instrument becomes a voice and a character. The violin confesses its love, the cello argues and suffers, and the piano creates a whole world around them. The familiar opera stories unfold again — without a single word. On the program — concert paraphrases and transcriptions on themes from famous operas: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart — "The Magic Flute", "The Marriage of Figaro". Georges Bizet — "Carmen". Giuseppe Verdi — "Rigoletto". Pyotr Tchaikovsky — "Eugene Onegin". On stage: Lev Solodovnikov — violin, principal violinist of the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. Yulia Wendland — member of the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. Georgy Kantor — piano, winner of international competitions and founder of Music Code. "Opera Without Words" — music that needs no words.
