# MOCHILEROS > Haifa Events **Category:** cinema ## Description Country: Israel 2026 Directed by: Shai Feldman, Shai Pener Starring: Doron Tavori, Liron Levo, Uri Pendrich, Elad Shenker, Yuval Carmel ⏱ Runtime: 84 minutes 🌐 Language: Hebrew 💬 Subtitles: Hebrew Israeli Triptych: Film and Talk, pre-premiere screening. Three stories are interwoven along the Israel National Trail; at the heart of each stand characters who share a common trauma and wound from their past. Shaul lives alone on a desolate kibbutz in the Arava, unable to protect his farmland, which is broken into on a regular basis, and tries in vain to get help from the kibbutz. Shaul hosts hikers passing through the kibbutz, which sits on the edge of the trail, and they breathe a little life into it. Zion and Angelo carry scars from their military service as they walk the trail, seeking some peace of mind and inspiration. From Dan to the Arava the two wander the roads, meet old friends, and are hosted by a "trail angel" who gives them a warm bed. At their final stop they reach an isolated ashram in the desert and undergo a painful ritual of remembrance and reckoning with the demons of the past. Evyatar and Reshit, a father and daughter, have suffered a painful eviction from their home and wander in search of a new one. Reshit is a complicated teenager carrying a heavy burden toward her father; a blow-up between the two sends her running into the forest and disappearing. While the father searches for her, the two go through a parallel, shattering journey that exacts a heavy price. On the side roads between fleeing the past and confronting it, the characters undergo a physical and emotional journey. They stop, they hurt, they fall, and then rise and continue on, in a constant search for repair, comfort, and meaning. 84 minutes, Hebrew, subtitles in Hebrew. After the screening there will be a conversation with directors Shai Feldman and Shai Pener. **Date:** 2026-12-01, 18:30 **Venue:** Haifa Cinematheque **Address:** Ave. Ha-Nasi 142 **City:** Haifa **Tickets:** https://www.haifacin.co.il/Event/17764/ **Image:** https://pub-0a891185c33b4c5a8db7ede117f7c8e7.r2.dev/haifa-events/cinehaifa/6c78917c66f6f4f5bb21a82714c6f40a.jpg --- **Canonical event page:** https://www.haifa.events/en/event/mochileros/ **Other languages:** https://www.haifa.events/he/event/שביליסטים/, https://www.haifa.events/ru/event/mochileros/ Haifa Events is an aggregator.
