# Workshop: Making a Hanukkiah for Hanukkah > Haifa Events **Category:** kids ## Description Workshop: Making a Hanukkiah for Hanukkah This coming holiday, you'll have a special hanukkiah that you'll make yourselves from clay! As the days of Hanukkah approach, come knead and roll, shape and create a clay hanukkiah together. We'll roll out clay pieces in various shapes, and after gluing them firmly to the base of the hanukkiah, we'll paint the hanukkiah and the branches so we get a beautiful hanukkiah we made ourselves - one on which we can light the holiday candles. The hanukkiahs will be ready for pickup after undergoing a double firing with glazing, before Hanukkah. No previous experience needed, just a pair of curious hands!
