## Description

Based on the famous story by Hans Christian Andersen. A play based on the famous story by Hans Christian Andersen, written in 1843. A play that seeks to raise the issue of accepting others - the wish to belong to society and to be valued and loved. A gray, big, clumsy duckling, so different from his siblings that he is shunned purely because of his appearance. In every way, the duckling tries to find himself a family that will embrace him and be an anchor for him. A difficult coming-of-age journey full of challenges. Autumn, spring, summer, winter, and around again - the duckling struggles with loneliness and hardship. Until, on a beautiful spring morning, a handsome swan is revealed - upright, white, and proud. Will the memories of the past shape the path of one who once began his life as the ugly duckling? A thought-provoking, heartfelt play with an important message. About Andersen's story: in the story by the famous writer Hans Christian Andersen, the last duckling is born completely different from his small, yellow, cute siblings, and tries in vain to make friends. He is gray, big, rough, and different, and finds his place among the barnyard residents only with his mother duck, who doesn't care about her son's appearance. But the ducks, chickens, and geese reject him and feel hatred toward him - even the wise old goose won't accept him. But the duckling doesn't give up. After running away and hiding, he begins searching for his roots elsewhere, because it's very important never to give up hope, and to believe that after every winter comes spring. In the end, the gray duckling turns into a beautiful, happy swan with a long neck. Still, he never forgets what he went through, nor how he felt when he was an "ugly duckling."
