Digger Rockwell is an eccentric oil tycoon, immeasurably rich and convinced of his power to change the face of the world. But his unchecked ambition leads to an environmental disaster of global proportions, and now he must embark on an impossible mission: to save humanity and prove, beyond any doubt, that he himself is the man who can do it. Beside him stand a scientist trying to keep a cool head amid the chaos, a flamboyant American president, and politicians and businessmen each convinced that he knows what's best for everyone. As the situation deteriorates, Digger turns the global crisis into a private show of ego, power and glory. Alejandro González Iñárritu creates a wild, very funny, absurd satire full of surprises. 128 minutes, English, Hebrew subtitles. **Date:** 2026-11-21, 19:00 **Venue:** Haifa Cinematheque **Address:** Ave. Ha-Nasi 142 **City:** Haifa **Tickets:** https://www.haifacin.co.il/Event/17709/ **Image:** https://pub-0a891185c33b4c5a8db7ede117f7c8e7.r2.dev/haifa-events/cinehaifa/54ae6b4c528cc615a881d88f451eded1.jpg --- **Canonical event page:** https://www.haifa.events/en/event/digger-bdc39371-75a5-5532-81fa-26f54dd898ce/ **Other languages:** https://www.haifa.events/he/event/digger-bdc39371-75a5-5532-81fa-26f54dd898ce/, https://www.haifa.events/ru/event/digger-bdc39371-75a5-5532-81fa-26f54dd898ce/ Haifa Events is an aggregator.
