
'Sima the Witch' — A Show That Works Wonders
"Sima the Witch" — the zany comedy based on the film that captivated Israel. Sima Vaknin, a widow and devoted mother, wants to renovate her small apartment to keep her family close to her. When a stubborn neighbor blocks her way, Sima, in a moment of frustration, fiercely curses him. But when the curses begin to come true one after another and the rumor spreads throughout the city, Sima finds herself a full-time "witch" in order to finance the apartment renovation. Amidst all the noise and magic, Sima will have to choose, perhaps for the first time in her life, between what is good for her family and what is good for herself.
